Your accommodations
The space is unique because it is a barn that was converted into a wellness center. The 1,800 square foot structure greets you with a vibrant mud room/reception area when you walk in. This is where you can remove your shoes, coats etc before entering the great room.
Living space: The great room is a 1,000 square foot room with 14-foot ceilings. In the great room, you have access to a living area (couch, chair, and lots of additional movable seating and space). The great room has two large TVs. One is a smart TV (60 inches) and the second (48 inches) is equipped with a firestick for streaming shows and movies. It also has a surround sound stereo system with Bluetooth access for jamming out to your favorite music. Wifi included!
Kitchen: There is a full kitchen on site with oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher toaster, coffee maker, tea pot, and everything you would need to cook a basic meal. There are also utensils for the outdoor grill. In the kitchen is a small 4-person table to eat at in addition to two bar style areas with stools.
Bathroom: There is a spacious bathroom on site with a stand-up shower and heated toilet seats! Enjoy lots of fun hotel-style toiletries during your stay.
Sleeping: There is also an 800 square-foot bedroom that is equipped with a queen sized murphy bed and 4 twin-sized twin (bunk) beds. Each bunk has its own set of drawers to place your personal belongings. There are ample plugs for charging your electronics. Also, a fan and space heater to get you to the perfect sleeping temperature and a white-noise machine to drowned out noise as you fall fast asleep. There’s a vanity for putting on your make up and getting ready and room is equipped with a TV and fire stick so you can curl up at the end of the night and watch a movie before drifting off to sleep.
Parking: The Light House has its own private parking lot, so there’s plenty of room for your vehicles
The Outdoors
The Light House is located on a one-acre property; the building is adjacent to the owner’s 5-acre property that is accessed by a bridge between the two. The one-acre is your private oasis. You also have access to the pond on the owner’s property.
Private Outside features on the one-acre:
• Outdoor fire pit (firewood provided)
• Outdoor grill
• Outdoor eating area (picnic table)
• Meandering creek
Shared Outside features on the adjacent property (April – October only):
• Stocked pond for fishing (bring your own fishing supplies)
• Pedal boat (seats 4), paddle boards (x2), kayaks (x2)
• Badminton net and supplies
• Hammock
• Meditation walking trail (around the pond)
Please note: Owner’s home is located on the adjacent property. You will NOT have access to pool, hot tub, tree house or decks on the owner’s adjacent property during your stay.
Included at the property are 6 pillows, 4 twin bedspreads, 1 queen bedspread and loads of blankets. There are also 4 bath towels and plenty of wash clothes. If you need additional supplies, we encourage you to bring them with you.
Please note: Although the space is big enough for large events, this space is a Zen place, not a party pad; “events” and excessive drinking are not permitted. Max of 6 guests per stay regardless if staying the night or not. If you are looking to rent this space out for an event, please contact owner for details.
House Rules
• There is no smoking anywhere inside the Light House (no exceptions), if you must, you can smoke at the firepit area
• We ask that you remove your shoes in the mudroom/reception area
• No candles or open flames in the Light House (no exceptions) – You may have a fire outside in the designated firepit area
• There are no pets allowed since this space serves as a multi-functional space
• We ask that you remove your shoes in the mud room/reception area and not wear them in the rest of the Light House
• You do NOT have access to the following areas on the owner’s property, which is across the bridge: Pool, Hot tub, Decks, Tree House (see additional details regarding this in listing)
Zen space
• This space is a Zen place, not a party pad; events and excessive alcohol drinking are not permitted during your stay
• The cost of your stay is for 6 guests maximum
• We love our neighbors, be mindful of them by keeping your noise to a reasonable level during your stay, especially after sunset
Cameras
• For your awareness and everyone’s protection – there are several cameras located around the property at all entrances/exits, on the owner’s adjacent property, at the pool and in the reception/mud room area of the Light House.
