Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great position with a beautiful view over the Drakensberg Sun valley in a secure eco estate. We saw zebras and black Wildebeest.The baboons and monkeys are around most of the time, so you need to be alert. There was firewood available which was nice. We appreciated the lovely bottle of red wine left for us to enjoy. I'm sure winter will be good at Valhalla, as there's a huge fireplace with wood, and electric blankets on all beds.

Negative: There's no instruction leaflet there, so it took us a while to get the TV working. The beds are not great. Foam mattresses on the twin beds, and a broken slat causing a hollow under my buttocks. The double mattress bounces a bit. The cornice in the en suite bathroom is broken.
