VENOSC is a little village linked to the 2 alpes by the gondola in 7 minutes, it is a typical mountain village just near a river called Le Veneon and on the doorstep the Ecrins national park.
We are in a privileged place: the national park with its spectacular glacial scenery is just on our doorstep ready for hikers and climbers of all
abilities.
We have several Via Ferratas nearby which are excellent introductions to climbing on serious terrain but in a family friendly and accessible way!
The Oisans region is a road cyclists paradise. The famous Tour de France climb of Alpe D'Huez is a short ride away, as well as the lesser known but equally challenging and spectacular Cols of Galibier, Croix De Feu, and La Bérade. It takes 15 minutes to join Bourg D’Oisans and 30 minutes to go to Les 2
Alpes or l'Alpe d'Huez by car, Grenoble is at less that one hour by car.
