Positive: Location was fine for us, between Cascais and Sintra (if you like palaces) ~20mins from both. Easy to reach beaches further up the coast e.g. praia grande et al. Cooler than on the coast and quieter apart from an early morning cockerel. Definitely need a car if you stay here but see comment below about parking at the property. Short 15min walk down hill to a local Spar shop and a number of restaurants in the vicinity. Parked in Cascais in a 'free' car park, a short 10-15min walk from the train station when we went to Belém and Lisbon.
Negative: Getting into and out of the property was problematic if you had a mid or large car. Maybe easier with a small car. I don't believe this is mentioned in the write up but be warned you really need to be able to park the car in the on site garage else you are doing a 180 degree turn from a narrow road, not ideal especially at night. For us the sliding doors to the property were imposing, looked like Fort Knox.
Summary: Pleasant warm and an ideal situation to visit the west coast. Cascais and Estoril within easy reach.
