Positive: - Me and my family have really enjoyed our time at Villa Esperanza during our stay in August 22. The pool was just the right size. I thought it may not be deep enough but it was just right! great for swimming, playing etc. we have also really enjoyed spending time together on the terrace having BBQs etc. - The location was great. The local sandy beach was about 10-15 min walk. We went to Salou quite a few times as that was about a 35 min drive. Also visited Barcelona - about an hour and 30 minutes drive. - The pool was cleaned regularly and the staff were very helpful. If there were any issues, they sorted them out really quickly :-)
Negative: 1. Shops, restaurants etc. were a bit further away to walk and difficult to get to especially in the heat. And we found that transport like trains, taxi were a bit more difficult to get. Thankfully we had cars between us so that didn't bother us too much. 2. Local food store (spar) was very expensive. Thankfully we spoke to some locals who recommended (Mercadona) which we really liked 2. The air-conditioning was only in the hallway & the living room so we have really struggled sleeping in our rooms in the intense heat.
Summary: 9 people - 3 families - we have all left happy :-)
