Villa Lombok is a luxurious house for rent in stunning Playa Hermosa, just four kilometers north of Santa Teresa, a town with excellent international cuisine, world class yoga, surfing and a laid back vibe. Santa Teresa is on the Nicoya peninsula in Costa Rica and offers an abundance of activities for travelers from all corners of the world.
Villa Lombok is located just above Playa Hermosa with stunning views overlooking the beach, surfers and exotic jungle. We cater to the discerning traveler who enjoys a personalized service and privacy during their stay. An ideal getaway for family or friends. The house is in a desirable location nestled in the hills within a gated property.
We have another fully equipped one bedroom villa available for rent if needed.

Enjoy the private pool with amazing views looking down over the jungle and to Playa Hermosa. The garden has space for sunbathing surrounded by exotic plants of bougainvillea, frangipani, cacti and palm trees.
A large patio area has comfortable outdoor seating, sunbeds and outdoor shower. This is where you will spend most of your time relaxing, swimming, reading and simply enjoying listening to the waves and the sounds of the jungle.
The spacious open plan living area has dining for six, separate half bathroom, TV and sofa area, fully equipped kitchen with six hobs and large oven. The kitchen comes with large fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and blender. The house has SKY TV, wifi, air conditioning in the bedrooms, ceiling fans throughout, washing machine and dryer.
Huge sliding doors disappear fully to open up the space and lead you to the outdoor areas. The house has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard with imported products for maximum comfort.
The master bedroom is located upstairs with a king size bed, fitted wardrobe, safe, luxurious bathroom with his and hers sinks, huge walk in shower, hair dryer and a glorious balcony with comfy seating and pillows to enjoy a glass of wine whilst admiring the incredible far reaching ocean views.
The double bedroom downstairs has an ensuite bathroom with views across the pool and sea beyond. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, luxury thread count cotton sheets and orthopedic mattresses.
Bathroom towels, pool towels and toiletries are all supplied upon arrival.
The property has an electric gated entrance.
Ample parking space is at the rear of the villa. A 4x4 is most definitely recommended for your stay.
There are many activities to enjoy in the local area should you wish to leave the villa - surfing, kayaking, yoga, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, horse riding, nature walks, bird watching, golf, snorkelling, tide pools, kids classes, Tortuga island day trips, Montezuma waterfalls and Cabo Blanco nature reserve.
The restaurants in and around Santa Teresa offer international cuisine at a very high standard. Just minutes by car is the famous sushi restaurant Kojis and one of our personal favorites, Couleur Café.

Summary: Beautiful, clean, large house with all of the amenities needed. I was so impressed with the hosts; responsive communication and quick action on any requests. Scarlett booked excursions for us and her husband was quick to bring propane for the bbq when it ran out. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. When we had a glitch with the dryer, Scarlett was quick to have the housekeeper assist with our laundry by taking it to another house for drying and it was brought back fresh and folded. The housekeeper even initiated doing our laundry when I had left it near the washer to do when I came home. The pool was warm but refreshing after a morning on the beach surfing. Waves are for all skill levels and a 5 minute drive. Jackalopes for rentals is conveniently on the road to the beach so you do not have to go all the way into Santa Teresa. If you do your research, Santa Teresa has some of the worst roads in Costa Rica. Not the hosts fault. I thought they were fun to drive with a large SUV. Only 15-20 minutes to all the amenities of Santa Teresa and multiple grocery stores. The house is adjacent to another rental property, but you can not see them and they cannot see you. Still very private. Amazing views and I was pleasantly surprised with the multiple howler monkeys and spider monkeys that were close by every day of our 4 day trip. Highly recommend this property and host for any length of stay!
