Positive: The villa is quite nice, has 2 bedrooms, 2 showers and WC, one living room with TV and a fully equipped kitchen (open space with the living). One bedroom has it's own shower and toilet, while the other room has only a shower on suite, the toilet is shared with the living room. The bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning and all windows have motorizrd blindes which you can lower at any time to get some shade insise, and trust me, that's very important. The terrace is also very nice with 3 distinct areas, the pool, the sun beds and the sitting area. There are only 2 sun beds available, but there are some other sitting options like a sofa, and some chairs. There is also a table outside where you can eat or have a drink, chill and enjoy the beautiful scenery. On the terrace there is also a small coutertop and a sink, but sadly no fridge. Would have been nice to keep your drinks cool and handy, right next to where you need them, but the fridge in the kitchen is big enough to store all your foods and drinks, so that's no problem at all. We really enjoyed our 8 night stay at the villa. There are some taverns nearby 10-15 min walk, where you can get some traditional food. One of them also delivers to the villa at no extra charge, just ask the host for a contact, and they will set you up. You can also visit the nearby town Palairos, where you'll find more taverns and shops than in Pogonia, but that's 1h walk from the villa, or 15 min ride by car. The villa offers also 1 parking space but it's recommended to have a SUV, because the road to the villa is a bit steep in some areas and if you have a small car and it's fully loaded you'll have to be a bit careful, but in general the road is good enough for any kind of vehicle (Car, scooter, bike, atv)
Negative: We only had 2 issues which we've mentioned to the host from the first day of our arrival, but they were not able to help. Hope they thake it into consideration for the next guests. 1. There is no shade on the terrace and from 6AM when the sun rises until 13:00 or 14:00 the whole terrace will be under full sun, and considering that when we stayed we had 29°C at 8:30 in the morning, it wasn't that nice to have that beautiful terrace and views and not be able to use it. It was unbearable to sit outside or in the pool, but from around 14:00, the sun gets on the other side of the villa and slowly the terrace starts to get some shade. We've bought and umbrella which we left at the villa, in the hopes of other to use it, but to be honest, it's of little help. The owner should invest in an retractable cover for the sitting area at least so that you can fully enjoy the terrace. 2. The pool was untidy. I know it is an outside pool and i visited a lot of locations in Europe and Asia with outside pools but never seen so much dust and so many debries on the pool floor. There were no cleaning tools for the pool, so we've requested the host to clean it, the first day when we've arrived. Next day someone came, cleaned it and left in a hurry but did a poor job, to be honest i couldn't see that much of difference. That was the only time the pool got "cleaned" during our stay, and imagine how the pool looked like after another 7 days without cleaning, considering there was an active construction site right next to us. I totally recommend that the pool gets clened at least every 3 days under these conditions or that the owner leaves some pool cleaning tools at the villa so that at least the guest can do it themselves. We ended up not using the pool that much because of this 2 reasons mentioned above and it was a pitty because, as i said, overall the villa is very nice, well equipped and has a beautiful terrace and views.
