Withy House sleeps 6 / 8 over three bedrooms – one king, one king en-suite and one twin, and a king sofa bed in the dining room. There is also a travel cot and high chair available (please bring your own linen for the cot).
Withy House was built in 1898 in the style of a Victorian villa and retains many of the original features, including a painted logo on the wall of the family bathroom done by the painter and decorator in 1908 to advertise his work. The spacious accommodation has in addition to the three bedrooms a well-equipped kitchen, lounge with open coal fire, and a separate dining room. The family bathroom has a bath with steam bathing, a standard shower as well as a tropical rain shower with mood lighting for total relaxation.
Withy House is a short walk to the Rose and Crown public house and only a few minutes’ drive to a really great selection of restaurants and local pubs. There is a public footpath that runs behind the house leading to the river and a lovely walk into Langport.
We are situated on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels where they combine peace and tranquillity with the convenience of being easy walking distance to Langport with its pubs, restaurants, and shops. Ideal for weekly, mid-week, or weekend stays for families, couples on a romantic holiday, or special interests such as walking, bird watching, fishing, and visiting the many national trust houses and historic monuments nearby.
There is a private patio and a large garden which is shared with guests, us, and our cats.
Withy House is ideal for winter breaks the open fires creates a cosy atmosphere no matter the weather, in summer the thick stone walls keep the temperature inside nice & cool.

The ancient beauty and diverse wildlife of the area makes it one of the landscapes that have inspired many artists and photographers as well as drawing visitors from all over the world. The ancient Muchelney Abbey is less than 2 miles from Huish Episcopi and Glastonbury Tor is only 12 miles away.
The cottages were built in the early 1800's these blue lias stone cottages would have originally been thatched and Withy House was built in 1898 in the style of a Victorian Villa. All have been have been tastefully renovated with many original features restored, I have decorated and furnished them as if we were to be living there myself and I believe that I have made a truly comfortable home from home using only the very best to ensure that your stay with us is a wonderful experience.

Hotel quality bed linen with soft downy duvets and pillows. All have a cosy sitting room with open fires. Freesat / Smart TV, Gas central heating a fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a private sunny patio area with seating and a BBQ and garden.
Willow Vintage Caravan in the lower garden of the cottages has a shower and toilet in the garden cabin. Willow is a 50’s girl with accurate era fittings and décor. She is a very rare model which we were lucky to find, she is an all-original girl, lovingly cared for by the same family from new.
