Positive: Location was good

Negative: I stayed at this hotel for six nights with my daughter. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the price. The hotel appeared significantly better in the photos on Booking than it does in reality. In person, the property looks worn and outdated, which makes proper maintenance and hygiene more difficult to sustain at the expected standard for this price category. There were ongoing construction works in the building connected to the hotel. The noise was extremely disruptive — it started at 7:00 a.m. and continued until 6:00 p.m. every day. Rest during the day was simply not possible. Although the hotel seems primarily oriented toward business guests staying one or two nights, I stayed with my daughter for six nights. Despite being aware that I was traveling with a child, we were assigned a room in the noisiest part of the hotel. Ventilation was also an issue. It was not possible to use ventilation independently, so we had to open the window for fresh air. However, this made the construction noise unbearable. Additionally, the elevator was extremely slow — at times we waited 10–15 minutes, which was highly inconvenient. The stay was prepaid in full. I requested a partial refund due to the circumstances, but this was refused. Changing rooms did not make sense, as the renovation noise affected the entire property. Most importantly, I believe it would have been fair and transparent to clearly inform guests in advance that construction works were ongoing. This would allow customers to make an informed decision before booking. Given the price paid, the overall experience was disappointing.
