Summary: I had a terrible experience at this rental house in Desert Hot Springs. The neighborhood felt very unsafe, making us uncomfortable throughout our stay. We even had to park our vehicle in the garage, which we normally don’t do when staying in Palm Springs, out of fear it wouldn’t be there in the morning. The pool area had very limited shade, making it almost unusable during the hot parts of the day. The house was filthy upon arrival, and I had to spend a significant amount of time cleaning it myself. The area rugs had stains, along with the dining room chairs and some pf the bedding. They really need to invest in a good deep cleaning on all fabric items, couches included. We had ants and crickets throughout the entire house in the most random places and we had all windows and doors closed. Additionally, there was no outdoor table to eat at after using the BBQ, which was a major inconvenience. Most of the outdoor planter lights didn’t work. When we did go in the pool, we were only there for a bit because it got pitch black due to lack of lights. Overall, I do not recommend this property.
