Planning a relaxing weekend or a memorable family vacation? Off the Charts will bring you a sense of peace and relaxation the minute you step inside. Located in City By The Sea on a scenic waterfront lot you can enjoy fishing in the canal, watching the birds and wildlife in the estuary from the kitchen window or front porch, or grab a refreshing drink and watch the kids play in the backyard.
Off the Charts features an open floor plan for entertaining, a vaulted ceiling, and a unique shell chandelier are two charming accents to the family area creating the perfect ambiance. Enjoy conversations while making memories of having an old fashion sit-down meal and watching the boats go by…the oversized dining table is the place to be when serving breakfast or dinner! The fully stocked kitchen is accented with a surfboard eating bar that seats four or can be used for serving buffet-style meals!
We have a Keurig and a coffee maker so wake refreshed with your coffee and enjoy the upstairs balcony to watch the panoramic sunrise over the canal, truly a sight to see if you dare to be an early riser! The fully furnished kitchen also includes pantry storage with serving dishes galore for entertaining to your heart's delight. Pots and pans, dishes as well as holiday dishes, spices, and a few condiments for your use.
The primary bedroom is right off the living room and features an over-size shower, a flat screen tv, and a full bath. While the secondary bedroom is on the other side of the living room with a queen bed, flat screen tv, and full bath as well.
Take a stroll downstairs and you enter the bunk room. Perfect place to watch your favorite movie or game on a flat screen tv and three leather recliners, or heck take a nap! Directly behind the recliners, you will find full-size solid wood bunks for 4 adults (not to exceed 600 lbs on each level), and two twin beds set up as day beds make a perfect place for the little ones. Just a few steps away are the third bedroom with a queen bed, a great view of the canal, a full bath with an oversize shower, and access to the laundry room that comes with a full-size washer and dryer.
The back porch greets you with the adorably ugly crab bench and a porch swing, a lovely tropical landscaped backyard, and seating by the waterfront! A gas grill or a charcoal grill awaits you in the evening to grill up your catch of the day!
Take a walk down to the end of the canal and enjoy an upscale dinner and drinks at Crab-N and stroll home to walk it off. A short drive away you find Paradise Key, live music, and a beautiful dinner awaits along with an amazing sunset from the second-story deck or just watch the boats come in to see the catch of the day! Beside Paradise Key, you find a boat launch, bait shop, and Cove Harbor Marina for all you fishermen. Another new addition nearby is the Gnarly Marlin eatery, the original is on Lake Travis!
Port Aransas Island is just 11 miles away, so load up and spend the day at the island or bring the kayak and hit Lighthouse Lakes just minutes away or take the GLOROW Guided Night Tour via their neon kayaks, then return to the slow-paced lifestyle in City By The Sea!
