Additional amenities include a kitchen that was fully remodeled in 2019, an adjacent dining room, two light-filled living areas, an atmospheric study lined with bookshelves, and a private washer/dryer.

THINGS TO KNOW
In 2024, the Point Betsie Lighthouse is scheduled for a major construction project to replace the current steel shoreline protection system and concrete apron, as well as undertake dune and beach restoration which will extend from the north side of the lighthouse to our property. The project is scheduled to begin in April and to be completed in October 2024. A significant part of the project, including the dune and beach restoration, should be completed by the end of July although anticipated construction schedules often change. Considering the above, the cottage will not be accessible to rent in 2024 prior to August 3 when rentals for available weeks in August and September will be offered. Since there will be heavy equipment working in and around the lighthouse area for the remainder of the project, a 20% discount will be in effect for those guests who wish to rent during that two-month period.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
