Studio on the lake. Dock with kayak for fishing. Lake is behind the house so view from the bathroom or dock only. Lots of wildlife, birds, alligators and fish. Full bed with loft bed above.
Loft is a tight space for smaller people. Kitchen is small but functional for extended stays. Washer in photo has not been hooked up yet. 2 miles from Charleston Southern, 2 miles from Trident hospital. 5 miles from the naval weapons station.15 miles to Downton Charleston 19 miles to the beach.

Summary: The bed was comfortable, living area is small but enough if you are in the area to experience outside attractions the majority of your time. The bathroom is spacious and functioned well. I stayed for a month during one of my clinical rotations and my main complaint would be the refrigerator is a wine fridge, not a mini fridge. While I worked around it making shelves with cutting boards it was not sufficient to keep my food cold and did have to throw some things out because they were not appropriately refrigerated. The loft area is functional for smaller people. I was aware that the washer/dryer was not hooked up so that was less of an issue and there are a couple laundromats in the area within 20 minutes and one is next to a cute coffee shop so you can enjoy a cup while you wait. Overall, not a bad place for short stay or if you don’t intend to cook to try to save money if you’re on vacation
