We welcome you with champagne and local beer (for stays of two night and longer), and a local tasting platter to enjoy in one of the many spaces in the house and on the grounds.
The house is located on the banks of Lake Daylesford Reserve, with direct access onto the boardwalk and lake path. Take the path for 3 minutes to the iconic Lake House for an amazing dining experience and wander home, or meander a touch further to the main street and centre of town filled with bustling cafes, bars, restaurants and beautiful stores. If you are visiting to unwind, a trip to one of the many day spas in and around Daylesford and Hepburn Springs is an absolute must, or soak up some relaxation in one of our two deep soak spa baths.
Our garden is cottagey and a little rambling, and the property was originally built by the miners who hunted for gold in the 1850s where Lake Daylesford is now located, on our doorstep. Two rooms of the original cottage remain, with the flooring recently exposed for the first time after many years of preservation.
This house has been cleverly redesigned to convert it for holiday accommodation and those seeking a unique and luxurious experience, as a group or as a couple.
The house includes a fully equipped, marble adourned country style kitchen with a high bar area for cocktail hour, adjoining a dark and moody dining space. The open plan living room with french doors to the large deck, is light filled and cosy. The perfect place to sit back and unwind while watching NETFLIX in front of the open log fire.
The house consists of 2 king sized bedrooms with spa bath en-suites and one queen bedroom with separate bathroom and adjoining sitting room.

All linen, towels, hairdryers and a selection of designer toiletries are provided for your comfort.
We do electric blankets, wool blankets, pillow topped mattresses and have adorned these with custom bedding to create the cosiest of sleeps.
Includes Free Wifi and Netflix, champagne and beer with two nights+ stays, a welcome tasting platter, Tea, Nespresso Coffee Pods, Hot Chocolate, Milk and local Muesli.
You will have full access to the house and grounds during your stay. Our garden has direct access onto the lake reserve and lake path if you feel like stretching your legs. The local geese have been known to frequent our plot for fallen apples from our fruit trees, and they occasionally stop the traffic at our front door as they cross from Lake Daylesford to an additional lake across the road from the house. Have your camera ready!
No one else will have access to the property during your stay, it is yours and yours only from check in to check out. We do have a linen supplies cupboard which remains locked for our housekeeping, and if you are booking fewer rooms than 3 bedrooms, these will be locked also.
- Weekend bookings are whole house only, mid week we do offer single night stays.
Weekend night are a Friday/Saturday, and Saturday/Sunday night.
