Summary: Sadly there were two very big problems with Whale Rock. 1. It was about 200yds from a huge and filthy township. The approach was through this which was very frightening. We felt it dangerous to go out unless by car. 2. It is advertised as per person, so be careful when booking. We didn’t realise and were surprised when we were charged almost £200 a night, which is definitely way over the top for this place, which is not spectacular and so close to a township.
