Summary: If we visit Amsterdam again we’ll definitely be returning to stay at the XO hotel - purely for the location alone!! We were right in the middle of the shopping area with the bars and red light on our doorstep so it was super easy getting off the train and a tiny walk to our hotel and sight seeing. The room was clean and the lobby had nice seats to hang out with friends. One particular guy on reception was really blunt and rude when we phoned to ask some questions about checking in but the staff we saw in person were helpful and friendly. No hairdryer in the room as advertised but I’m sure they would have got one if I asked. Could do with a mini fridge, some coat hooks and better lighting in the room but the bathroom was well lit and a good size and clean. Fair prices for the rooms so we’re really pleased.
