This stunning single level Hacienda villa has an open concept floor plan, and a California room overlooking the heated pool & barbecue area. Lots of room for your family get-togethers, as well as a gorgeous Loggia off the front master for a nice nap, book, or glass of wine--and lots more special surprises to discover, for your own quiet time. The new Secret garden is next to the vineyard, with an al fresco dining table, a Santa Maria grill, and a gas fire pit for great conversations in the gorgeous vineyard. The Hammock Garden under the trees is a special place you'll adore. You'll definitely feel like you're in a high-end resort. Some guests tell us Casa Calzada is so special that they never even leave the property during their whole stay!
The Villa provides an intimate indoor/outdoor experience that's in harmony with the natural beauty of the region, and provides the utmost in privacy and elegance. With a huge, private yard overlooking the gorgeous pool, waterfall, koi pond, gazebo, hot tub, and private vineyard, you'll feel like you're in your own private retreat compound. All this privacy, and resort amenities, yet you're an easy walk, bike ride, or drive to town, and just minutes to the many great wineries & shopping the Valley has to offer. You're also just 30-40 minutes from Santa Barbara, where you can enjoy stand up paddle boards, ocean kayaks, deep sea fishing, whale watching, sunset cruises, and more.

Five fabulous bedrooms with 4 newly remodeled baths, as well as a new gourmet kitchen--this home is magazine worthy in every way! Front master opens to a private loggia, while the main master opens to the pool and hot tub, and has a luxurious spa-like bath with jacuzzi tub. FYI, Casa Calzada has a brand new whole house generator--so no worries, should PGE cut power when needed.
In addition to the Main Master, there is our very popular Treehouse Room, (the only room upstairs), the Front Master, the Vineyard Room, and the Chandelier Room. Includes three queen beds plus one king, two oversized built-in twin beds with memory foam mattresses, as well as a day bed in the loggia. The nice thing if you come with other couples is that everyone will have a hard time choosing a bedroom--they're all simply charming!
There are many spaces to get away and curl up with a book and a glass of wine--as well as many spaces to gather as a group. The California room overlooks the pool and is a big favorite with our guests. The new Vineyard garden has an oversized lounge that is promising to be one of the most favorite spots of all! This garden is part of the vineyard, and includes a large farm table for alfresco dining, a lovely gas fire pit, a Santa Maria wood fired grill, corn hole, horse shoes, and raised garden beds to pick your salad, or work the soil for relaxation. An easy walk or bike ride to the fabulous restaurants & shops of Santa Ynez, you'll find this quiet and rural area to be popular with horse riders, dog walkers, & joggers, too. Casa Calzada has Ring exterior security for your peace of mind. This estate is truly a stunning showstopper--you'll love every minute at Casa Calzada!
