Positive: The information from Veronique re accessing the apartment was very clear and her information re the area. It’s a spacious 4th floor apartment with enough kitchen equipment, crockery etc for two but would have been a bit sparse for 4. The terrace is up another flight of stairs but has wonderful views of the cyclops and Mt Etna. The village has no shop but about a 20 minute walk away is a big supermarket and there are buses into Acireale. Plenty of restaurants in Capo Mulini to choose from. It was a very relaxing stay.

Negative: There is only one sun bed cover for the terrace and it was a bit dusty but then it is open air. I thought I’d read someone would meet us at the apartment but Veronique’s information on access was very clear. We were disappointed that the only way to walk to Acitrezza is along the busy main road.
