Positive: Very mixed feelings as we both loved and hated the location. Loved the mountain views from all our windows, saw some stunning sunsets. Closest beach with plenty of free parking is 5 minutes drive away. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

Negative: BUT… from early morning until well in the afternoon there is a noise from sand washing plant next door. If, like us, you do not dig as deep as checking host information on booking.com (who does that?) you will get information about their lovely neighbour only after completing the booking. This info should be written in ENGLISH in “Property information” tab, not hidden in a tab almost no one checks written in Italian. Just before making booking we have to confirm some of the property policies. To be transparent you could simply add a line like “I have read the information about noise.” We felt tricked. Weekend, when the plant was not operational, was 10/10 stay.

Summary: Beware of the noisy neighbours!
