Summary: The key issue was that the host switched our unit location days before our arrival and sold it as an upgrade. However, the new apartment was located in a sketchy area near the train station and it was a 30-minute walk to the old Bari area instead of a 10-minute walk of the location I booked. As our last day of our holiday, it was disappointing to not feel safe walking back to the apartment and having to walk three times the expected distance. As we checked out early morning there was a person who camped out in cardboard boxes right next to the apartment entry door. It terms of the apartment layout - the kitchen was in a separate enclosed room with no air conditioning. The bathroom had an accordion door that was difficult to close. Lastly the shower was impossibly small.
