Summary: Quirky no-frills B&B located in a historic building in the centre of Salerno just a few streets back from the waterfront. One night stopover. Carmen was the lovely hostess. Very welcoming. She lives there on site. Very generously took the trouble to arrange a taxi for me on the morning of checkout to the ferry terminal. Room (no3) was very large and comfortable, but a little 'tired' and probably in need of a refurb. It also fronts on to one of the main thoroughfares in Salerno so there was quite a lot of street and traffic noise thru the night. Breakfast was good. The usual continental-style offerings as well as the option of eggs or omelette cooked there in the kitchen by Carmen. Parking obviously an issue if arriving by car. Parked overnight in a public carpark near the seafront a 10 minute walk away. Only had one small case so wasn't a problem.
