Summary: We had an amazing stay from the moment we arrived! We had booked Hotel Augusta as our base as we were running the Lake Garda marathon, which finished at Malcesine. We had a hire car and were able to park up no problem with ample and secure spaces. When checking in, we were given a warm welcome and given full instructions on things like breakfast and accessing the leisure facilities. Onto our room and we had one of the most spectacular balcony views I've ever seen, overlooking the town, the castle, the lake and the cliffs beyond. Everything was incredibly clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The nicest touch was that after explaining that we wouldn't make breakfast on the Sunday as we had to be away early for the marathon, one of the team knocked on our door the evening before with a lovely breakfast spread for the morning to ensure we were well fuelled. It was lovely and completely unexpected, but really appreciated. The indoor and outdoor pools with hot tub were heavenly after the marathon. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone, but especially if you're doing the marathon! Thanks again for an amazing stay.
