Summary: Although this property is rated as a four-star hotel, our experience did not reflect that standard. The rooms were quite basic, and the beds lacked comfort. We found the staff to be largely disengaged and not particularly helpful during our stay. Dining options were extremely limited, with only one nearby restaurant within walking distance. Throughout our five-day visit, we were unable to secure a dinner reservation at the hotel and ultimately had to rent a car to access dining options in the downtown area each evening. On the one occasion we had lunch on-site, service was very slow, and the steak we ordered was disappointing in both quality and flavor. On a positive note, the beach is beautiful, and we were able to enjoy our vacation primarily due to the flexibility afforded by our rental car and the scenic day trips we took. It’s also worth noting that while the hotel listing on Expedia advertises airport shuttle service, this comes at an additional cost. Guests should also be aware that there are daily fees for changing beach towels, and beach chairs incur extra charges as well.
