Summary: Pros: Excellent location, easily walkable. Large room for a family of four with beds for everyone. Small fridge in room, plenty of space. Room was beautiful. The free breakfast provided at Golden Star was great with a lot of options. Front desk staff was very kind and helpful (Jana). WiFi was good. Lots of windows to open at night and fans provided. Cons: Didn’t have hot water for a day, that being said, it was fixed as quickly as possible. Biggest complaint is the bath/shower…someone is going to break a hip getting in and out of that. The tub wall is about two feet high, and then you have to step down another foot into tub. Only thing to hang on to is a glass wall. As fit people, we struggled. They at least need to install a bar to hold on to. Also of note, lots of stairs to room, no elevator (which we expected). Bring your own hair dryer unless you want to use an antique European one. Found king bed to be pretty uncomfortable, very hard with a ridge in the middle. Overall a great value and location.
