THE LOCATION
Tricase Porto, which with the nearby Marina Serra is part of the territory of Tricase, is located along the Adriatic coast, halfway between the famous towns of Castro and Santa Maria di Leuca.
It's facing onto a stretch of coast characterized mainly by low rock and is rich in natural caves and small coves. The sea is so transparent to invite you to arm yourself with mask and snorkel to discover the wonderful and rich seabed.
InThe heart of this picturesque seaside resort there are bars and restaurants that overlook the small natural cove, with sandy stretch, and the ancient port dating back to the fifteenth century.
Recently has been also added another marina to allow the shelter of pleasure boats.
In addition, the town of Tricase is just 5 km away, where you can find many commercial activities and services, but also a rich history, culture and tradition.
THE HOUSE
Villa Medea is 110 square meters wide and is spread over several levels.
The interiors spaces, large and bright, are located on a higher level than the entrance and are reached through a flight of stairs. The rooms and spaces are divided as follows:
-living room with sofa, tv, dining table, fully equipped kitchenette and an internal fireplace;
-three bedrooms, one of which is double (with opening or "disappearing" bed), one double bedroom and one twin bedroom;
-a complete bathroom with bathtub and shower;
-an additional service bathroom.
In addition, the villa has large outdoor areas surrounded by greenery and composed of:
- equipped veranda adjoining the living room with stone barbecue corner and outdoor shower;
- an entrance veranda with sea view, equipped with chairs and table;
-pool area on a higher level, reached through a flight of stairs and bordered by a gate. Here you can refresh and relax in the pool (above ground) and enjoy the beautiful sea view and the surrounding landscape. This area is not completely fenced, so we recommend more caution and attention in case there are children or pets.
Finally there is a private and fenced parking inside the property, outdoors.

Washing machine, printer, wood-burning barbecue, outdoor shower, above-ground swimming pool, complete linen service (kitchen, bed and bathroom) and fans.

- you can practice snorkeling to explore its wonderful backdrops,
- organize boat excursions to discover the sea caves and coves with unique and evocative charm and more,
- For lovers of trekking and walking, the area is rich in nature trails to walk along, such as the characteristic "Senitero del Nemico" that comes to the cliff and the sea caves.
Another natural beauty that we suggest to visit the Forest of Tricase, located within the Park Costa Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca, a protected natural area that guarantees the protection of biodiversity.
The wood is characterized by dense Mediterranean vegetation, and among the rarest species there is the Quercia Vallonea , or Dei Cento Cavalieri, a monumental tree of over 700 years, that became the symbol of the park and an important natural heritage to be preserved.
For those who like the most authentic and wild landscapes, the Canale del Rio, located between Tricase Porto and Marina Serra is also worth a visit. It is a cove of natural origin, bordered by high cliffs that fall overhanging the sea. The magnificence of the surrounding landscape together with the legends that has always inspired, have made it a charming and fascinating place.
In addition to Marina Serra (4 km), you can visit another beautiful natural cove: the Piscina Naturale, among the most popular places frequented by tourists and locals.
Finally, the town of Tricase has a rich gastronomic heritage to be discovered in the different trattorias and restaurants of the center. Walking in the historic center you can get into the heart of history admiring the ancient buildings, palaces and noble castles.
