Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Hotel from medieval times, so much history. Each public area was a new discovery. A little tricky finding your way around but once you walk around and acquaint yourself with the area, everything is easy. Well worth it tò pay for parking. It is a long steep walk from the public parking area at the bottom.
Negative: The description in Booking made it sound as though you register with The San Michele Hotel and then go to the B&B Piccolo. They are really one and the same. When we were looking for the hotel upon arrival, we were looking for the B&B Piccolo. Never saw that name on the property. Very confusing.
Summary: Absolutely wonderful place to stay and the staff is extremely helpful. Great breakfast.
